Beck isn't HOT STUFF anymore, i'll tell ya that much. He was playing at both Sasquatch in Bend and Bonarroo in TN and we were just chillin' backstage drinking a beer (Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks who Peter's playing drums for now) and Becks peeps were all "uh, yah. So Beck isn't allowing ANYONE backstage during his show." And then he looks at Steve as if to say, "dude, man. Sorry." it was totally ridiculous and then to top it all off my old roommate Jenny from the Decemberists told me that Beck wouldn't even allow her band, or any opening bands to drink beer on stage during their OWN freakin' show. Can you believe this. AND THEN he had his very own tour bus while the crew had another one and then the rest of the band had another one, but he was too good for that, you know? He got his very own freakin' tour bus. Ok that is all. Beck is dead to me. Bastard. Sorry but he is. Wayne from the Flaming Lips, however, is extrememly cool and even played badmitton with me and so if you couldn't catch a meeting because you had to listen to the rest of a FLIPS song, than i would be like, "hells yeah."
