We�re in San Francisco and it�s bleeding hot. I wish I could like hot weather however much it can be liked without thinking about global warming and what will it be like in ten years and will we all fry like bacon? It said it was 107 in the shade so we marinated under the sprinkler and the kids were in hog heaven. They would aim the hose at our heads which makes you writhe and scream in shock but for about ten seconds after that you feel like you�re floating on a cloud in heaven.
We�re at David�s parents� and their guest room has a poster with a recipe for haggis. Why someone would put that on a poster and brandish it as decoration is beyond me, it says �Piping the haggis!� and has a picture of a steaming stomach on a tray next to some bagpipes. The recipe part says �Clean the offal (lungs, heart and liver) of a sheep. Mince and mix with oatmeal. Place in paunch of sheep�s stomach and leave space before closing as it swells during cooking.� That�s when I have to look away.
I like this thing about Pearl Jam, but only the hater part (scroll down).
