Phone conversation with my dad today:Dad: Hey, in two days it's Robert E. Lee's birthday! Then two days after that it's Stonewall Jackson's birthday. They used to be state holidays in some states but they did away with it and now MLK Day is a federal holiday.
Me: I bet it was only a state holiday in states below the Mason-Dixon line.
Dad: Yeah, you're right. But it's hard for us southerners to have those holidays taken away.
Me: But MLK was pretty rad.
Dad: Yup, he was. He was a good guy. Things I heart:1. Tiffany, Touche Éclat concealer by YSL, and the fact that wonderful Tiffany gave me some!
2. Benadryl for helping me walk and breathe and have a buzz all at once
3. Project Runway with Austin Scarlett and his Princess Di hair.
