Today HH was wearing a pin with a donkey humping an elephant and another button with George Ws picture on it that says Somewhere in Texas a village is missing an idiot. Movies I saw this weekend: Super Troopers: loved it. Mona Lisa Smile: sucked ass but had great costumes, especially the wedding scene. Why didnt Julia Roberts dress like she was in the 50s? She wasnt in costume at all. Was that because in the movie she was such a progressive new mind? Dumb. I also didnt appreciate how they tried to manipulate my emotions, like on the first day of class when all her students know every painting she shows them and the camera was swirling around and Julia turned pallid and had to grab her desk for support, and all the girls were smugly saying the year and name and the slide projector was going ka-chung really loudly as to add intensity. Please. Harold and Maude: loved it. It's got to be one of the best movies ever made. So far ahead of its time, its kind of scary. A lady who is probably my moms age has said twice today: Dont dis me in the buttocks. Shes being serious.
