If you ever get the urge to go shopping with your two year old, don't act on it. In a fit of optimism today I took the buddy to Buffalo Exchange and it turned out to be a bad decision. He ran through the clothing racks (it looked kind of fun, actually) and tripped while holding his bubble tea, which spilled everywhere. The alterna/emo/bi-curious girls who worked there were highly disdainful. I was already full of disdain for myself, no need for their nonverbal input. It's so cold that my hands hurt. The buddy's taking a nap and husband is meeting with his label. That sounds kind of cool doesn't it. But it's really not.
